Our purpose is to surface publicly available professional information in a searchable, mobile-friendly format so that anyone looking for legal help can quickly identify attorneys in their area and contact them directly.

• No per-lead fees charged to attorneys — profiles are listed on a flat subscription basis.
• No attorney-client relationship is formed through this platform.

How the directory works

Profiles in the directory are sourced from publicly available data — state bar associations, official licensing boards, and public professional registries. Attorneys can claim and enhance their profiles, add contact details, practice areas, bios and photos, and upgrade to a paid tier for greater visibility.

When a consumer submits a contact form on an attorney profile, the message is forwarded directly to that attorney. GiveMeALawyer does not screen, filter, or participate in that communication.

Our commitment to accuracy

We do not publish private contact details that are not part of public professional sources. We recommend that consumers independently verify an attorney's bar admission status with the relevant state bar before hiring.
